Our women-only swim sessions provide a safe, private and comfortable environment. Sessions will be staffed by women instructors and lifeguards only.
Women-only general swimming sessions
There are two types of women-only sessions available:
- Women-only – Women and Girls (boys 5 years and under only)
- Women-only – Women and girls over 16 years
Women-Only Sessions
The Women’s only swimming sessions are held on the following days:
Tuesday:
- 9.15am – 10.00am – Women Only General Swim – for women and girls (boys 5 years and under)
- 10.00am – 10.45am – Women Only Lane Swim for women and girls over 16 years. To attend this session you must be able to swim lengths of the pool.
Friday:
- 10:00am – 10:45 am – Women and girls, boys 5 years and under
- 10.45am – 11.30 am – Women and girls over 16 years old
Sunday:
- 12:30pm – 13:15 pm – Women and girls, boys 5 years and under
- 13:30pm – 14 :15pm – Women and girls over 16 years old
Women-only group swimming lesson
This session is for all women over the age of 16 and is suitable for all abilities.
Whether you are a complete beginner or you want to improve your technique you will be fully supported by our friendly female-only instructors and lifeguards.
This session takes place on a Wednesday at 10.30 am for 45 minutes. No need to book.
Aqua fit sessions
This is an instructor-led class using water resistance to help tone your muscles and strengthen your aerobic capacity. These sessions are for women only. They are low impact and great for anyone with limited mobility.
This class takes place at 11.00 am on Wednesday mornings for 45 minutes. No need to book.
The use of dumbbells and woggles make the class exciting and varied.
