Zest manages the Zest Centre, which comprises of three refurbished and linked Victorian buildings.
The Zest Centre is a centre for community wellbeing, a vibrant, community-led initiative for the long-term holistic health improvement of local people ensuring social inclusion, reducing health inequalities, and increasing local people’s use of health, education, leisure and recreational facilities. The Zest Centre builds on the strengths of the local community and facilitates local, social and cultural change by connecting people and widening people’s horizons.

Inside the centre you will find a swimming pool, 2 gyms, exercise studio, health improvement services, advice services, a volunteer managed library, IT suite, pay as you feel café, meeting rooms and a range of other services. Click here to view our current timetable.

Accessibility

There are a number of disability ramps which make access to any part of the Centre easy for wheelchair users.

Other facilities include disabled toilets, baby changing and a lift allowing access to facilities on the first floor of the building.

The swimming pool has a range of disabled changing facilities, with both ramp and hoist access into the pool.
