Drop into the Zest Centre for BMI, height & weight & blood pressure checks.
Health Checks are a free check of your overall health. They can tell you whether you’re at a higher risk of getting certain health problems such as heart disease or diabetes.
As well as measuring your risk of developing certain health problems a health check gives you advice on how to prevent them. This could include talking about: how to improve your diet and the amount of physical activity you do how to lose weight or stop smoking or help you to improve your mood if you’re feeling low.
Community Health Course
This five week health course for adults focusses on staying health and explores lifestyle and long term health conditions in a supportive group setting. Participants have the opportunity to meet new people with a chance to try taster activity sessions and gentle exercise.
