Swimming Lesson Terms and Conditions
By booking swimming lessons with us, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions, establishing a binding agreement between you and Zest Centre. For the purpose of this agreement, ‘You’ includes the booking individual, the lesson attendee or the parent or guardian, henceforth Zest will referred to as (“We” or “Us”).
We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions with reasonable notice to you.
Bookings and Payments
Our swimming lessons run on a weekly basis. They are organised into blocks of six sessions and take place in both term time and school holidays. We close during the festive period; dates will be advertised beforehand on our website and in the centre.

Payment is taken at our reception desk using cash or credit/debit card.
Bookings cannot be transferred to another individual unless an older sibling is withdrawn from lessons. In such instances, payments can be transferred to the following block.
To ensure your child retains their place in lessons, payment should be completed within the initial week of the block. Zest reserves the right to remove your child from swimming lessons if payment is not received during the current payment block.
For swimmers joining mid-block, a proportional payment reflecting the remaining lessons will be required.
Payment for the entire block is required; partial payments are not allowed.
By registering, you will receive important updates regarding swimming lessons via our third-party mailing list operated by Mailchimp. You may unsubscribe at any time. Your personal information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with external parties.
Re-enrolment – swimming lessons
On completion of a stage, we will offer you a place in the next stage as soon as space allows. If no space is available your child will be placed on a transfer list. Payment must be completed prior to any children being transferred to a new stage.

Periodically, we conduct price evaluations and may adjust them accordingly. You will receive advance notification of any price modifications, typically with a notice period of four weeks.
Changes to your booking
Occasionally we may need to change your lesson time if your child moves up or if we need to change a class. If we are unable to offer you a suitable day or time we will refund the fees for the remaining sessions in the block.
We are unable to change lesson days as a one off. Payment must be completed prior to any children being transferred to alternative lessons.
We do not offer catch up lessons.
Cancellations/Refunds
If lessons are unsuitable or you are dissatisfied, and you have paid for the entire block, we will reimburse you for any outstanding payments within the current block. To cancel a booking post-payment, contact reception or email swimming.lessons@zestcommunity.co.uk
Illness or Injury
Refunds for missed lessons due to illness or injury will only be provided if supported by medical proof.
We do not provide refunds for circumstances outside our control, such as traffic delays or unfavourable weather conditions, provided that lessons proceed as scheduled.
Cancellation by us
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we may have to cancel lessons at short notice. If a lesson is cancelled, we will inform you via text message and wherever possible we will update our website. You will receive a credit for the cancelled lesson, by removing a charge from the subsequent block.
If you or any accompanying individuals fail to comply with staff instructions, exhibit inappropriate behaviour toward team members or others, or cause damage to property, you may be excluded from participating in further swimming lessons. Access to our Code of Conduct is available at:
