Sheffield Healthy Holidays – Zest Swimming
-
Zest are offering swimming activates as part of Sheffield Health Holidays, for all Sheffield children and young people eligible for free school meals – all completely FREE!
We have a number of different sessions taking place throughout the summer holidays.
A Swimming session for disabilities and SEND, will be available from 1.30 pm to 2.05 pm every Monday throughout August (excluding Monday 29th August). An adult MUST be in the water with the child.
There will then be a fun session from 2.15 pm to 2.50pm. This is for children who are or have met the Stage 4 Swim England standards. Please only register your child if they meet the criteria.
Swimming lessons will take place every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August at 1.30pm and 2.05pm for 35 minutes. We have some extra places available for our lessons on a Wednesday at 2.15pm, these are open to 5-9 year olds and suitable for your child if:
- They can not swim at all.
- They are a complete beginner.
- They may have never been in a swimming pool before
- They may have been in the water before, but they can not swim and would need arm bands, back floats and other support.
or if:
- They are water confident, i.e. they have been in the water before.
- They can swim with aids (armbands, back floats, woggles or other support)
(S6 > Zest Swimming and Sport Sessions)
