Responsible to Volunteer Manager
Do you want to make a difference to families in Stocksbridge and Stannington areas? Do you feel passionately about improving access to services for children and families, want to work together, share ideas and support local families?
Zest is working in partnership with Local Family Hubs to develop a network of Family Hubs with both Start for Life, Early Help, and Community Voluntary led services
Family Hubs are based in your local community, offering universal support and services for children, young people and families aged 0-25. Services offered include antenatal, child’s health, early help, parenting support, baby and toddler groups and more.
The Family Hub Network will improve connections between early years providers, community partners and the families they link with. The network will enrich the Family Hub and Start for Life offer, working together to ensure all families have access to services, and are able to provide the earliest support to meet individual family need. The network will ensure an increase in the number of families accessing Family Hub services including: • Parenting • Infant Feeding • Perinatal Mental Health (PNMH) & Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRs) Parent Infant Mental Health • Home Learning Environment
We want the Family Hubs to have a real presence in the local community, and we want local communities to feel proud and involved with their local hubs. The best way of achieving this is through working with local people and local community groups.
