Pool Closure: What Happens to My Membership?
Our swimming pool will be temporarily closing from Monday 18th May for refurbishment of our changing rooms. We expect the closure to last for approximately four months, reopening in September.
We understand how important your swim routine is, and appreciate your patience while we carry out these improvements to enhance your experience.
Please select your membership type below to find out how your membership will be managed during this period.
If you have a Swim Only Membership:
- Your membership will be automatically frozen for four months from the nearest date of the pool closure.
- You don’t need to take any action for this to happen.
We will keep you updated and let you know when payments will resume.
If you would like to use the gym during this time, we can transfer your pool only membership to gym only at no extra cost. Please let us know by emailing memberships@zestcommunity.co.uk
- If you have had a gym induction within the last 12 months, we can activate this straight away.
- If not, just let us know in advance and we will book a gym induction for you.
If you have a Swim & Gym Membership, you have two options:
- Move to a Gym Only membership during the closure. The standard gym membership rate will apply.
- Freeze your membership for the duration of the pool closure.
If we do not hear from you, your membership will continue as normal.
If you have a pay-over-the-counter membership, we will extend your membership expiry date to cover the period of the pool closure that falls within your membership. This ensures you won’t lose any remaining membership days while the pool is closed.
