The previous Easter playscheme provided 4 days packed full of exciting sporting activities and fun games. These activities included basketball, hockey, dodgeball and football to name a few. Also fun games such as a team sports day were included in the playscheme. Children were able to enjoy an Easter Egg hunt held in the Philadelphia Gardens, where children were able to enjoy a treat. Through the week children were able to bring out their creative side in arts and crafts.

All children engaged in our activities on offer and specific awards were given out throughout the duration of the week. These awards included 'Person of the Week' aimed at rewarding children that contributed in all activities with a willingness to help other kids perform tasks successfully. Also the team sports day rewarded a number of children working in a team, focusing on skills such as communication, teamwork and creativity.

Following the successful of our playschemes, we are pleased to announce that upcoming playschemes are fully booked and are sure to carry on the success of previous ones. 

The playscheme is aimed at children aged 6 - 16 years old at a small fee of £3 per child, per day. It is based at Netherthorpe Primary School Sports Hall and includes a swimming session timetabled for one of the days, located at the Zest centre. Due to the recent demand for our playschemes, it is essential that you book your child's place as soon as possible. Recent successful funding has enabled us to provide forthcoming Spring, Summer, October half term and Febuary hal term playschemes, with full details available on the booking form.
