Family Play Days offer children and parents the opportunity to take part in various play activities that are fun an enjoyable. The aim of the play days are to provide activities than can easily be recreated at home.

It is also to encourage families to understand that play can enhance children's learning and development, help increase imagination and creativity for children and parents. Play helps families to do things together and strengthen the interaction between parents and children.

Some of the activities that take place in the play days are:

• Making Play Dough
• Marking Art Models
• Outdoor Games
• Balloon Art

The Family Support project is working in partnership with Zest and Out of school network to deliver the family play days in Netherthorpe, Upperthorpe and Lansgett areas.
