Zest provide a number of entertainment and support activities specifically aimed at children and young people. These range from assistance with schooling, family activities, awareness sessions on crime related issues or just generally having some fun!

Youth Clubs

Peer Mentoring

The Peer Mentoring Service offers one-to-one support and guidance to young people who are vulnerable, isolated, socially excluded or who may be at risk of offending or participating in anti-social behaviour.

The homework club is aimed at children aged between 5-10 years and and is designed to support children with their homework in a safe environment. All the sessions are led by designated volunteers.

Children's library

Upperthorpe library is based within the Zest centre and houses a large number of books for children.  A variety of books are available ranging from board books for babies to novels suited for young people.

Zest Study Support Group

The study support group is similar to the homework club but is aimed children 11 years and over. The group meet in the Zest Centre every week and children can complete their homework in a quiet environment.
