Exercise Classes

Exercise_classOur group exercise classes are all are based on having fun and making friends whilst keeping fit. Led by our professional instructors our exercise classes provide a good all over workout where you will leave feeling re-energized and fitter.
We also run a number of classes that concentrate on the mind and soul like Yoga and Pilates.

We offer a range of classes to suit everyone from traditional aerobics to modern classes such as boxercise. We even run a number of women only exercise classes.

AQUAFIT

 WEDNESDAY 11:00 -11:45

A great exercise class working out to music in the water. Ideal for non-swimmers,  pre/post natal and those with joint problems or injuries.

BODY MAX

Bodymax is a studio based workout regime carried out to music.  You will get a varied aerobic workout with some movements using equipment such as free weights and others just under instruction from our qualified instructor. 
Bodymax is great for toning up and improving your body's fitness and endurance levels 

WEDNESDAY 17.00 - 18.00

BOKWA

Bokwa is an intense but fun cardio workout combining elements of African Dance, capoeira, kickboxing, light-boxing and step.  It is suitable for all and once the basic steps have been learnt you will start to have fun whilst burning those calories.

FRIDAY 18.00 - 19.00

BOXERCISE

TUESDAY 18:00-19:00, TUESDAY 19:00 - 20:00 WOMEN ONLY, THURSDAY 19:15 - 20:15 

Burn plenty of calories here, take out some of that stress from the week using kicking and punching! 

CHAIR AEROBICS

FRIDAY 10:30-11:30 (FREE REFRESHMENTS)

 Seated exercises which will improve fitness, strength and tone the whole body while limiting the stress and strain on joints

 CARDIAC REHABILITATION CIRCUIT 

WED 12.30-13.30

Physical activity in the form of a circuit for patients in Phase four Cardiac Rehabilitation.

FAB ABS

FRIDAY 19.00-20.00

This class is designed to work those areas that are generally hard to tone.  There will be a mix of exercises that are designed to strengthen, tone and stretch the core muscles of the abdomen and back, resulting in a toned stomach to be proud of.

HIGH ENERGY AEROBICS - WOMEN ONLY

High Energy Aerobics is an upbeat, energetic class that is sure to get your body moving. You will get a great workout and it is suitable for all levels of fitness and combines the classic aerobic workout with some toning exercises for a fantastic total body workout.

PILATES

TUESDAY 10:00-12:30 (VARYING LEVELS) PLUS THURSDAY 15.00 - 16.00 EXERCISE REFERRAL PILATES (SPEAK TO BECKY)

Help make your body more supple, whilst toning muscles and improving posture and strength 

STEP MIX - WOMEN ONLY

MONDAY 17:30-18:30, WEDNESDAY 19:30 - 20:30, SATURDAY 12.00, SUNDAY 12.00 - 13.00

Easy to pick up choreographed exercise class on a step platform, as well as a range of high energy toning and sculpting moves for a great, full body workout. Great for weight loss and overall fitness.  Please note that this is a high intensity class and more suited to ladies who have already started working out and have a moderate level of fitness.   

 TAI CHI  

 WEDNESDAY 14:00-15:00, THURSDAY 18.15 - 19.15 

 Tai chi is a gentle exercise to build strength, balance and promote relaxation. All classes start at beginner levels and work up as required.  

YOGA

MONDAY 10.30-11.30, 19.30-20.30, WEDNESDAY 18:15 - 19:15 HIGH ENERGY YOGA

Improve your flexibility and posture and relax your body and mind

THURSDAY 1:00 - 2:45

New sport and physical activity sessions for adults.

MONDAY 18:30 - 19:30 (WOMEN ONLY)

SATURDAY 11:00 - 12:00 (WOMEN ONLY)
